One winter day Gillian Lennox almost dies... and

reaching for me. And I don't want anyone to
meet me-looking like something rotting
with bones exposed-after all.
And then, a few feet away for her, above
the grass, a mist of light appeared. It seemed
to get brighter as she watched, and to stretch
from very far away.
